Однако из-за колебаний воды отражение луны тоже кажется колеблющимся, хотя настоящая луна остается неподвижной. На самом деле движется не луна, а вода. Подобно этому, живые существа кажутся оскверненными материальными качествами, иллюзией, скорбью и страданиями, хотя эти качества полностью отсутствуют у чистой души.
SOUL WITHOUT LOVE AND MISER (3:9:42)
Душа без любви и скупец (3.9.42)
The Mayavadi philosophers, accepting the influence of maya on the living entity, want to become one with the Paramatma. But because they have no actual love for Paramatma, they remain ever entrapped by the influence of maya and are unable to approach the vicinity of Paramatma. This inability is due to their lack of affection for the Paramatma. A rich miser does not know how to utilize his wealth, and therefore, in spite of his being very rich, his miserly behavior keeps him everlastingly a poor man. On the other hand, a person who knows how to utilize wealth can quickly become a rich man, even with a small credit balance.
Признавая, что живое существо находится под влиянием майи, философы-маявади стремятся слиться с Параматмой. Но поскольку они не питают к Ней любви, то не могут выпутаться из сетей майи и приблизиться к Параматме. Причиной этого является отсутствие у них любви к Сверхдуше. Скупой богач не умеет правильно распоряжаться своими деньгами и потому, несмотря на свое богатство, вечно остается в плену нищеты. Тот же, кто умеет правильно использовать деньги, может быстро разбогатеть, даже если располагает очень незначительным исходным капиталом.
SOUL LIBERATED AND DREAMER AWAKENED (4:22:27)
Освобожденная душа и ПРОБУЖДЕННЫЙ ОТО СНА человек (4.22.27)
When one is liberated from the desires of sense gratification, he has no longer to suffer the reactions of lamentation or illusion. Activities performed by the Jcarmis and jnanis are subject to lamentation and illusion, but a self-realized liberated person acting only for the Supreme Personality of Godhead experiences none. This is the stage of oneness, or merging into the existence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. This means that the individual soul, while keeping his individuality, no longer has separate interests. He is fully in the service of the Lord, and he has nothing to do for his personal sense gratification; therefore he sees only the Supreme Personality of Godhead and not himself. His personal interest completely perishes. When a person comes out of a dream, the dream vanishes. While dreaming a person may consider himself a king and see the royal paraphernalia, his soldiers, etc., but when the dream is over, he does not see anything beyond himself. Similarly, a liberated person understands that he is part and parcel of the Supreme Lord acting in accordance with the desire of the Supreme Lord, and as such there is no distinction between himself and the Supreme Lord, although both of them retain their individuality.
Тот, кто освободился от желаний, связанных с удовлетворением собственных чувств, избавляется от необходимости испытывать на себе такие последствия своих прошлых поступков, как скорбь и иллюзия. Карма и гьяни не могут избавиться от скорби и иллюзии, но осознавшая себя освобожденная душа, действующая исключительно ради удовлетворения Верховной Личности Бога, не испытывает ни того, ни другого. Это и есть состояние единения или слияния с бытием Верховной Личности Бога. Человек, находящийся в этом состоянии, больше не имеет обособленных интересов, хотя и сохраняет свою индивидуальность.
SURRENDERED SOUL AND BIRD (9:19:24)

A tiny baby, dependent fully on its father and mother even to eat, suddenly flies away from the nest when its wings have grown. Similarly, if one fully surrenders to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, one is immediately liberated from the bondage of conditioned life.
Птенец, который во всем зависит от своих родителей и даже не может самостоятельно питаться, улетает из гнезда сразу, как только у него вырастают крылья. Так и человек, когда он полностью предается Богу, в тот же миг избавляется от рабства обусловленной жизни.
SOUL’S COVERING AND LUMINARY`S REFLECTION (10:1:43)

When the luminaries in the sky, such as the moon, the sun and the stars, are reflected in liquids like oil or water, they appear to be of different shapes — sometimes round, sometimes long, and so on — because of the movements of the wind. Similarly, when the living entity, the soul, is absorbed in materialistic thoughts, he accepts various manifestations as his own identity because of ignoranсe. In other words, one is bewildered by mental concoctions because of agitation from the material modes of nature.
